BIRTH DOULA SERVICES - $400

I take on a limited number of clients at any one time to make sure I can give you the full care and attention you deserve. By offering prenatal visits, my goal is to reduce any stress, allowing you to pay attention to your body and your baby.

My first initial consultation with you is always free. During our first time meeting, we will go over any questions you may have about choosing me as your doula. I will provide you my services agreement in which we can go over together to assure that I am the right fit for you. If you do decide to have me as your doula, we will sign the services agreement and at the time of signing, the retainer fee of $200 will be due.

Over the course of your pregnancy, I will meet with you and your partner for two- one hour prenatal visits. During our visits we will go over and discuss your priorities during birth, as well as any fears or concerns you may have. I will help you create a birth plan if that is something you are wanting and plan how we might work best together to help ensure a safe and satisfying birth experience. If additional prenatal visits is something you are wanting, please let me know and I would love to arrange that with you. In between our visits together, you are more than welcome to text/call/or email me with any questions you may have.

At week 37 of your pregnancy, the remaining $200 of my service fee will be due.

Once you suspect labor is beginning, I prefer for you to give me a call even if you do not need me right then and there as I will need 1-2 hours to get to you depending on your location. I will answer any questions you may have in the moment and make suggestions over the phone. We'll decide on whether you would like me to come then or wait until you progress further. We will also discuss if you would like me to meet you at your home or the hospital/birthing center.

Once I arrive, I will use my professional training, knowledge, and experience to help provide you emotional support and physical comfort. I will also make sure you have the information to make informed decisions as they arise in labor and make sure your birth plan is being followed. I can provide reassurance, make suggestions for labor progress, and help with relaxation, soothing touch, positioning, and other techniques for comfort.

After birth I will remain with you for 1-2 hours, or until you are comfortable and your family is ready for quiet time together. I can also help you with initial breastfeeding if need be. 

Pregnancy, birth and the early days of child rearing can be very scary and stressful. Our postpartum visit together is to ensure you get the best information and care possible. No matter when you need me, I will be there offering support. During this visit we will catch up, see how you and baby are doing, review your birth, and would love to hear your feedback about my role as your doula.
